This is my very first dlog (dog log) in the BARK THE VOTE blog. Yikes, so much to bark about with only 2 paws and no thumbs to type.
OK, let’s start with voting. Why is voting so important? How should I know - I’m only a five pound dog. But hanging around Central Park – I’ve heard humans say that one vote can make a difference in who gets elected pack leader of the United States. I also hear that it doesn’t cost anything to vote. So, why every adult human in America doesn’t vote is beyond me. Trust me, if I could vote for who gets to be boss of all the toys, and treats and the softest bed in my house – I’d be so all over that.
So pooches – let’s unite and walk our human companions to the polls to exercise their right to vote in November. Maybe if all our pet loving friends vote – we will have a kinder, gentler country . . . and more treats!
OK. This blog stuff is exhausting. I’ve gotta go nap.
Arf-Arf,
Schmitty
